2010: A Mayan Time Traveler

These are the lyrics to 2010: A Mayan Time Traveler. Time and Timing is very important to me...

He is a shadow man,

A master of dark

He travels through time,

Leaving his mark

A Mayan Priest

So sure of his timing

If the world were a cloud,

He would be its silver lining

He would be its silver lining

Love can reach through time and space

To the realm of the Maya in their sacred space

In the jungle the Maya

Can hear the sacred strings

The voice sings shanti

A sacred heart with wings

They pray for an end

To Blood sacrifice

2010 can wonderfully suffice

For we believe

For we believe

For we believe

For we believe

For we believe

Love and Peace can change history

With the right kind of eyes

The truth you can see

The Clock has wings

And through space it can fly

It tries to separate you

With its linear disguise

We are the same as we always were

Shaman, Gentlemen, Lady, Sir

Shaman, Gentlemen, Lady, Sir

Unify all aspects

Realize their true Source

Our calendars dissolve

No regret

No remorse

Where we walk is holy,

Where we walk is healed

We had sentenced Earth to die,

But now our acts repeal

But now our acts repeal

But now our acts repeal

The apple, As we share its

Divining Fruit Divining Truth Divining Youth

Mokah Lounge 2803 Taylor Street Dallas, Texas 75226

The Goddess is alive! Artlovemagic is afoot…

by Summer Spillman

Goddess…the one word that encompassed my experience ofartlovemagic’s GIRLSHOW 2009.

Creative female energy flowed through the halls, walls, andeven the bathroom stalls of the Mokah Lounge in Deep Ellum.

The Goddesses of Dallas were beckoned in by Deb Driscoll andMelody Hay, superb artists in their own right.

On Friday the energy swept in the door as the vibrant AtomicPink raised the consciousness levels from mycelium to mushroom.  From the upcycled shirts to the pink drinks,Atomic Pink crept into the smallest of particles as the crowd exchanged atomicnumbers.

Displays ranging from Sand paper art to D&D jewelry, andHenna to Hemp Jewelry, the Gallery blessed us as we walked through it withimages affixed somehow to this physical realm from the collective unconsciousvia colors of a vivid variety.

In the Lounge, women opened their hearts and released theirtears to the sounds from the veiled key master of Delphi, reflected the radiantGayden Lee, and swooned over Maggie and Alexandra’s words of wisdom and wit.

Lead by Jennifer Hurley, Blaming Grace headed out to thestreets of Deep Ellum, banjo, guitar and mandolin in hand, to spread theartLOVEmagic. Although the trip was fun, we were happy to be lured back to theGoddess Glow of GirlShow, where Jennifer sang sweet melodies like she was bornto do.

Glancing to the right corner of the stage, I was taken abackby a beautiful lifelike face of the Ancient Mother, the Crone of wisdom, painted by Hayley Ryan. Through the painting, Her Vision and Voice moved me,for the Goddess was present in all forms at Girlshow.

Heading back to Heidi Wunder’s henna booth, weaving my waythrough henna happenings, a handmade bowl was shown to me. The bowl waspurchased from Diana Rushing, handmade and glazed in all its glory. The bowlwas purchased for future use as an offering bowl. Yes, the Goddess was aliveand moving through the event from one vessel to another, and through everyoneat the same time.

GIRLSHOW was what we needed. After the experience of it, one can truly believethatThe Goddess is Alive, artlovemagic is afoot…
